Maeve, otherwise known as Mae-Mae, is the pick of the Samhain litter and my first bred-by girl. She achieved her star puppy at just 17 weeks of age, with her brother Puka. She achieved her CGC, CGCA and CGCU all at once right after she turned six months old!

First Show
Maeve went to her first show on March 28-31st- 2025 Desert Sieger. It was a combined UKC and IABCA show!
Because of my personal recent trauma, we had not even done a single conformation class. She had never even worn a slip lead. She had SO many new experiences...
And she did fantastic! She absolutely blew me away. I do not use bait and there was some gorgeous competition. I just entered for experience, and we left with:

Swimming
I introduced Maeve to swimming early. She took to the water like a fish and is a true water dog. I have taken great pains to make sure she stayed comfortable and learned in safety- whether we were in a pool, dock diving, a still lake or a river. It was important to me that she stay safe and find enjoyment, as well as learn how to safely swim around swimming people.I love the water and seeing how much joy she gets from swimming makes me so happy. We have gone swimming so many times, and I have captured so many phenomenal shots! Enjoy the swimming slideshows I put together of some of my favorite photos. The first slide show is just her first few times swimming, we started at a dock diving facility. The rest are mixed ages and locations.

It has been so fun watching her as she grows, and I like to take photos to see how her conformation evolves over time.

Adventures & Family Life
Before anything else, my pups are family. They get spoiled with attention, love, enrichment and adventures of all kinds. I am an avid outdoorswoman and very active. We go to rivers, lakes, climb mountains, hike in all kinds of terrain. I aim to take them on at least 3 longer adventures a week and we do walks or small hikes every day. I have hundreds of photos of Maeve enjoying her temporary time as a solo pup when I traveled to Arizona and spent a few months. I gathered some of my favorites to share :)
